Shipping policy

Where we ship

We ship across India. Orders are dispatched from Bengaluru.

We do not currently ship outside India. If you are ordering from abroad and would like a book sent to an Indian address, write to us and we will help.

When your order is dispatched

Every book is printed in small runs and packed by hand, so orders are dispatched within 2 to 3 business days of payment being confirmed. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Orders placed on a weekend or a holiday are processed on the next business day.

How long delivery takes

Once dispatched, delivery usually takes:

2 to 4 business days within Karnataka
3 to 6 business days to other metros and major cities
5 to 9 business days to smaller towns, remote areas, and the North East

These are estimates from our courier partners, not guarantees. Festivals, weather and regional disruptions can add a few days.

Shipping charges

Standard delivery: ₹40 on orders below ₹1,000
Standard delivery: free on orders of ₹1,000 and above
Express delivery: ₹80, available outside Karnataka, usually 1 to 2 business days after dispatch

The exact charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

Digital downloads

PDFs are not shipped and carry no shipping charge. They are sent to the email address on your order after payment.

Cash on delivery

We do not offer cash on delivery. All orders are prepaid through our payment gateway, which accepts UPI, cards, net banking and wallets.

Tracking your order

You will receive a confirmation email when you place your order, and a second email with a tracking link once it has been dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within four business days of ordering, write to us and we will chase it.

If your order is delayed

Once we hand a parcel to the courier, the delivery timeline is in their hands. We cannot guarantee delivery dates and we are not liable for delays caused by the courier, weather, or other events outside our control.

That said, we would rather hear from you than have you wait. If your order has not arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, write to us and we will trace it and sort it out.

If your order arrives damaged or wrong

Please check your parcel when it arrives. If a book is damaged in transit, or you have received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photograph of the item and the packaging. We will replace it at our cost.

Returns

Returns are covered by our refund policy. In short, you have 30 days from delivery to request a return, and if it is accepted we send you a return shipping label so the return costs you nothing.

Incorrect addresses

Please double-check your delivery address before paying. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete or nobody was available across the courier's delivery attempts, we will happily resend it once the reshipping cost is covered.

Books listed as coming soon

Some books on this site are listed before they are printed. Those pages take no payment and nothing ships. Joining a waitlist simply tells us you want that book made, and we will email you when it is ready to order.
